Breast cancer Portrait

In our art piece we are honoring Bette Davis, who is an actress from the 40’s, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. On the canvas we painted a portrait of Bette Davis in different shades of pink. The pink symbolizes that she was a victim of Breast Cancer (since the breast cancer foundation’s color is pink). Then we painted a frame around the portrait and put pink ribbons on it just like the Breast Cancer Foundation sells that are supposed to symbolize hope for the people with breast Cancer. I really hope that this piece will really inspire the people that look at it, in the same way it inspires me, to follow your dreams not matter what is holding you back.
