“It’s who we are, it’s what we do, it’s why we are here, to end breast Cancer forever.” –the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation. By that quote I think they meant that the foundation was made to help people with breast cancer. And there is also a purpose that everyone was put on this planet. So people should do something like help end breast cancer. That they should make a difference in other people’s lives.
Another quote that has come from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is; “One promise, two sisters”. At first I did not understand what they meant by that, but after reading a little more about the founders I understood. Nancy Brinker the founder, was very close to her sister Susan Komen, so it devastated her when she heard that her sister’s cancer had gotten worse and spread. So she told her dying sister that she would do everything in her power to stop breast cancer, in her honor. And that is how the foundation got started

Dear Alexis,
I really like the connection between your two people/groups. I always hear about the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation, but I never knew who she really was. Now I know. The two people are truely magnificant people who rose above all adverse things against them and continued to do what they loved until they died. The foundation is truely doing something for the entire world.

Hi Alexis!
I think your quote is a good representation of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation because it explains their services. This foundation is inspiring, and I think that it's a good thing we have them to help women and men through breast cancer. The two people really did a lot that continued after their deaths, they are truly resilient and left a mark on our world as we see it today.
